Skalø Sweater is a co-design by two knitters (Vibely Strik & Aalloilla Knit) from different countries, inspired by slow island days, salty air and the soft warmth of the spring sun. It’s a relaxed dropshoulder sweater, combining honeycomb cables with colourwork into a fabric that feels easy to wear and easy to love. A sweater made for wandering and dreaming, like the memory of carefree summers by the sea.

Skalø Sweater is a top-down sweater with dropped shoulders and triangular back shaping. The sweater can be worked with colorwork including a contrast color, or it can be worked with simply one color and replace the colorwork with twisted purl stitches.

20 stitches x 24 rows with 4.5 mm needles in the pattern

Recommended positive ease: recommended positive ease of 25-30 cm for the smaller sizes and gradually less ease for the larger sizes.
