Sean-o-saurus sweater has a classic raglan yoke and back shaping with German Short Rows. The dinosaur embroidery is achieved with duplicate stitching. It has a comfortable fit with loose sleeves and fitted cuffs. The double rib has a curled bind off, which gives the sweater a cozy finish on all hems. Recommended positive ease is approx. 20 cm.
Sean-o-saurus Sweater is named after my brother, Sean, who gave me all his hand-me-downs. In the picture to the right, you can see the inspiration of this sweater – which were hand-me-down knitwear from my mother and grandmother. My mother carefully stitched the dinosaurs on the red sweater, and my grandmother knitted the dinosaurs on a vest that you can see in the brochure next to it. This sweater combines both images to recreate my 90s childhood. The duplicate stitching of the colorwork gives a ‘pixelated’ effect, which further enhances the retro design.
